Holly is an A-level Geology, Geography and Spanish student at Runshaw College. These subjects are fundamental to her enthusiasm in the past, present and future, which shapes her engagement in protecting the environment on a holistic scale.
During college, Holly has completed an EPQ investigating the adaptations of prehistoric and extant marine predators. She has also completed a Gold CREST Award project that focused on life cycle assessments to demonstrate the output of carbon from products and services that we use daily without a thought for the impacts. Both of these projects have developed an understanding of the significance in taking care of the Earth that is home to billions of living things.
In 2024, Holly completed a work experience with SWC that provoked an alertness for the action that needs to be taken in order to protect the planet. This led to her joining the BPE team with the ambition of generating more dialogue on the issues the Earth faces today and in the years to come.
