Our Work
Our ultimate aim is to enthuse and encourage future generations to treat the planet with greater respect than those that have preceded them and to adopt more sustainable ways of living.
Introduction
We want to give young people a real awareness of environmental problems, such as climate change, disappearing wildlife, the pollution of soil, air and water, the destruction of rainforests and wetlands, the spread of desert regions and the misuse of the oceans.

Roots to Green Living
Roots to Green Living was Better Planet Education’s project to provide long-term support for schools to enable them to develop their grounds for environmental education.  In the 2014-15 academic year, we provided support to a group of seven primary schools, thanks to support received from the Heathrow Community Fund and the Ernest Cook Trust. Previously, we had delivered long term support to a group of eight schools in Bath and Northeast Somerset, thanks to funding from the Cadbury Foundation.
