Food: Farming and the Environment

As consumers we can choose to buy food that has been produced ethically and sustainably.

These resources comprise a set of informative teacher notes (including suggested learning activities) that run alongside a Powerpoint presentation filled with images to facilitate learning.  Aimed at Key Stage 3, but also relevant for Key Stages 2 and 4.  Areas covered:
1. Impacts of intensive arable farming
2. Organic farming
3. Genetically modified crops
4. Impacts of intensive livestock farming 
5. Impacts of commercial fishing
