Animals, including humans: Year 3

Lessons plans include resources such as an animal sorting activity and crossword. Accompanied by a PowerPoint presentation, which contains some great photos to bring the subject to life and fire children's imaginations.  Areas covered include:

• Why humans, and some animals, have skeletons and muscles
• Animals that have exoskeletons or no bones at all
• Why it is important that animals, including humans, get the right types & amounts of nutrition
• Different food groups and what makes a balanced diet
